Joe Zupan

Co-Founder & Partner

Joe has over 30 years’ experience in finance, executive management, entrepreneurship and business development, including work as an investment banker structuring and raising debt capital and sourcing and executing M&A transactions.

His experience has been across various industries, with a focus on industrial, real estate, and special situations. Highlights include closing over $1 billion of M&A and debt placement deals for multiple real estate, manufacturing, and industrial services businesses. He has also been involved with building ecommerce businesses and has structured, negotiated, and closed on multiple acquisitions of private companies.

Joe has a BS Finance from John Carroll University and an MBA from Case Western Reserve University.

Don Larson

Co-Founder & Partner

Don has over 25 years’ experience in information technology, engineering, and sales, serving in the roles of General Manager, VP Sales, Chief Engineer and other positions at a number of companies and clients.

Highlights include leading the process improvement team for a manufacturer of equipment in the water cycle, managing the modernization of the engineering department and manufacturing processes for an industrial control components business, and leading an engineering department in one of the manufacturing divisions of Elf Aquitaine building capital equipment. He has also served as manufacturer’s rep for several Fortune 100 companies in the Industrial Controls and Power Electronics Industry such as UPS equipment, switch gear and variable frequency drives.

Don spent five years on active duty in the U.S. Navy and has both undergraduate and graduate degrees in engineering from The Ohio State University, in addition to an MBA from Case Western Reserve University.
